7.3.6.1. Hypothetical Performance Results

Any promotional material that includes a measurement, description of, or reference to hypothetical performance results that might have been achieved had a particular trading system been employed, must include a disclaimer of its limitations. The disclaimer must state that there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any trading program, and that these hypotheticals do not represent that any similar account will likely achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. Hypotheticals are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, and they do not account for financial risk in actual trading.
