6.2.3.2. Continuation Patterns

Like reversals, continuation patterns are sideways patterns that interrupt a rising or falling trend line. Unlike reversals, continuation patterns represent a pause in the prevailing trend, which will resume in the same direction. Continuation patterns also tend to be shorter in duration than reversals.
