1.3.4.4.5. Delivery Notice
Contracts that are not offset by the first notice day risk receiving a delivery notice from the clearinghouse. A delivery notice may be transferable or non-transferable, depending on the product. With a transferable notice, the buyer of the contract has the option of accepting delivery or of selling an offsetting contract on the exchange floor and transferring the notice to another buyer. This is known as retendering the notice (a delivery notice is also called a tender notice). Retendering
