Eurobonds

A Eurobond is an international bond that is denominated in a currency other than the currency of the country or market where it is issued or where the issuer is headquartered. Eurobonds are typically issued by multinational corporations or consortia, national governments, and international organizations such as the World Bank, and they serve as an important source of capital for these entities. Institutional investors make up the bulk of the market for Eurobonds. The bonds are normally underwritten by an international syndicate.
