7.3.3.2. Special Call Reports

The CFTC may issue a special call to a reporting firm or trader to investigate the possibility of market manipulation. Each futures commission merchant, NFA clearing member, and introducing broker must file with the CFTC the names and addresses of all persons who exercise trading control over any customer’s account in commodity futures or options on any reporting market. Each firm must also furnish the following information concerning accounts of traders owning or controlling such futures or option positions:

  • The name, address, and telephone number of the person for whom each account is carried
