Reporting Procedures

All dealers must report information on the trades they make, promptly, accurately, and completely. They may report it themselves or they may employ an agent to submit transaction information. However, the primary responsibility for the timely and accurate submission remains with the dealer that effected the transaction. An agent acting as submitter for another dealer does have a responsibility to ensure transactions are fully and accurately reported to the extent of their ability. Agents do not receive a free pass to report anything that is submitted to them.
