5.6.4.3.1. Extended Hours Trading Disclosure

Before a customer is permitted to engage in trading outside of the normal market hours, a member firm is required to provide the customer with an extended hours trading risk disclosure statement. This document should highlight the risks of extended hours trading:

• Lower liquidity—may not get the best price because there are fewer buyers

• Higher volatility—prices may vary more than during market hours
