1.7.1.3. Minor Rule Violations

In the case of a minor rule violation that a member firm or associated person chooses not to dispute, FINRA’s Enforcement Department or Market Regulation Department may propose and request that the respondent execute a minor rule violation plan (MRVP) letter. As with a letter of acceptance, waiver, and consent, an MRVP letter accepts a finding of violation, consents to the imposition of sanctions, and agrees to waive the right to a hearing and appeal.
