2.9.9. Short-Swing Profits Must Be Returned to the Company

If insiders make profits on control securities that they held for less than six months, they must return these profits to the company. The profits will also be taxed as short-term capital gains. These kinds of profits are called short-swing profits.

Studying for the 24 was not easy. I felt Solomon's course materials and online portal prepared me well for passing the exam in the first try. I passed my Series 65 today with an 80, first effort! Not only was the material well laid out, but if it's possible, the Solomon prep made the material palatable and understandable. Amazing!!!
