4.1.2.4.  Bond Offerings

The Trust Indenture Act of 1939 states that all companies that issue more than $50 million of corporate bonds must sell these bonds under a trust indenture. A trust indenture is a contract that spells out the covenants (commitments) to be honored by the issuer and allows a trustee to take action on behalf of the bondholders
