8.3. The Road Show

The road show is a series of meetings and presentations held in multiple cities, allowing investors to meet the company management team and learn about the company and the offering. The road show is usually timed to occur shortly before registration of the offering becomes effective. The process can be grueling: a typical road show requires making multiple presentations per day in a different city every day over a period of one to three weeks. In large offerings, road shows may extend beyond North America to London and other major foreign financial markets.
