Definitions

A contribution is defined by MSRB Rule G-37 to include any gift, subscription, loan, advance, or deposit of money or anything of value made to an official of an issuer or a bond ballot campaign. The definition includes gifts given for the purpose of influencing the election or ballot initiative, paying a debt incurred in connection with the election or initiative, or paying for costs associated with transition or inauguration into office or costs associated with the initiative.

Purchase of securities in a primary offering from an issuer (a negotiated underwriting, not a competitive underwriting)

Offer or sale of securities in a private placement

Provision of financial advisory services or remarketing agent services f
