Pink Sheets
The Pink Sheets have been in existence since 1913, when the National Quotation Service (NQS) began printing on pink paper a directory of the broker-dealers wishing to buy or sell unlisted securities. Not until 1999 did it go electronic with a real-time quotation service, completing its makeover with a name change in 2008, to the OTC Markets Group. Today, trades are recorded through its subsidiary OTC Link, a quotation system that is available either electronically on the web or published in paper form. The
