Tax Increment Bonds

Tax increment bonds are designed to subsidize improvements in poorly developed or underused areas. The payments on the debt issued by the municipality are funded by expected increases in tax revenue, including higher property (ad valorem) taxes and other revenue generated by the proposed project.
