Firms may choose an alternative method to calculate their minimum net capital requirements from the net capital and aggregate indebtedness requirements listed above. If a firm chooses this alternative route, it must keep a minimum amount of net capital of the greater of $250,000 or 2% of its customer-related receivables, such as debit balances on custom
