Series 99: Reference Price

Definition of the term Reference Price...

the consolidated price of the last sale made immediately prior to a securities sale execution under FINRA review. Exceptions are made for events involving twenty or more securities and periods of extreme market volatility or sustained illiquidity. This price is used by FINRA to determine whether or not a transaction is erroneous.
