Dollar cost averaging is a tried and true investing strategy that has a long history of reaping rewards for investors. Under a dollar cost averaging strategy, an investor invests the same dollar amount in a security at regular intervals (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.). For example, an investor might invest $100 out of his paycheck in the ABC Mutual
