Definition of the term Trade Acceptance...

one of the ways to lock in a on ACT. Trade acceptance occurs when the reporting party enters its version of the trade and the contra-party accepts or rejects it. An acceptance results in a locked-in trade; a report that is declined will be purged from the system.
