Solomon Exam Prep and our parent company, First Books, are dedicated to doing business in a sustainable way. As signers of the Treatise on Responsible Paper Use, guided by the Green Press Initiative, we have committed ourselves to printing in a more sustainable, earth-friendly way. Every printer we partner with has certification through one or all of the following sustainable forest management organizations: the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). Certification through these organizations ensures that our company and our printers maintain a high standard of environmental responsibility by sourcing paper from sustainable forests and by providing long-term protection for the wildlife, plants and water quality within these forests and beyond.

Furthermore, we pride ourselves on reducing our impact on the environment by printing some of our books on demand and by using post-consumer recycled paper.

We do not use any animal-based products in the production of our books, and in our own offices, we emphasize waste reduction, as well as conservation of paper, energy and other resources.
